Bryan Nickson Lomas, winner of a silver medal from the 10m Platform Synchronized yesterday with Ooi Tze Liang, partnered Yeoh Ken Nee to win the 3m Springboard Synchronized, for his second silver medal of the Games.
Leong Mun Yee who had also won a silver medal yesterday from the 3m Springboard Synchronized with Ng Yan Yee, teamed up with Pandelela Rinong today to clinch the 10m Platform Synchronized event.
Ken Nee-Bryan collected 404.85 while China's gold medal winning pair Luo Yutong-Oin Kai accumulated 459.60 points while South Korea's Park Jiho-Son Seongchel settled for the bronze with 388.26 points.
For Ken Nee, it was his second consecutive silver medal in the Asian Games since he had partnered Rossharisham Roslan to achieve a similar feat at the 2006 Doha Asian Games.
"Overall I am satisfied with today's performance. We nailed a tough routine with a high level of difficulty in the fifth dive and that helped us collect high points and boosted our confidence," said Ken Nee.
Meanwhile, Bryan said they knew that the gold medal would be beyond reach since the divers from the host country were simply a class above the rest.
"I and Ken Nee are happy with the performance. We knew we were only competing for the silver but we could have done better," said the 20-year-old diver from Kuching, Sarawak.
Bryan who returned from Doha empty handed, the two silver medals won in Guangzhou would provide a major boost in his career.
