Asian Games: Divers Fish Out Two Bronze Medals From The Pool

From Farhanah Azmi GUANGZHOU, Nov 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysian divers fished out two bronze medals from the diving pool of the Aoti Aquatic Centre on the fifth day of diving competitions.

Host China, continued their 100 percent dominance in the diving events by making a clean sweep of all eight gold medals at stake thus far in the men's and women's competition while Malaysia are second overall with four silver and four bronze medals.

Today's first bronze medal came from the women's 10m platform through Pandelela Rinong who collected 344.45 points behind China's Hu Yadan (436.70) and Wang Hao, 426.10 points respectively.

The second bronze of the day was contributed by Yeoh Ken Nee from the men's 3m Springboard after collecting 439.45 points behind eventual winner He Chong of China (525.85) and Luo Yutong (503.15), also from China.

The bronze was Ken Nee's third medal of the Games as he had also won a bronze from the 1m Springboard and a silver from the 3m Synchronized Springboard with partner Bryan Nickson Lomas.
